Prenatal-onset

Mother's GBS Status: Not tested
Gestational Age: 21 weeks
Age harmed: 21st week of pregnancy

Second child, no morning sickness at 18 weeks i started feeling back and pelvic pain. went to the Dr. told me to rest and take it easy. I went in to the dr at 20 weeks for a reutine check, i was told everything was fine. 5 days later i noticed a bloody mucus like discharge, i went into the outpatient L&D where they did an ultrasound, again everything was normal. Later that day the dr came in to do a vaginal culture but would not get the results back for 3 days. I was told to go home and "take it easy".

The rest of the night i was having severe back pain but hot packs seemed to help. The next morning i woke up with a fever and severe cramps. As my husband took me to the hospital i admitted to my self they were contractions. I went into L&D where they didn't seem to in rush to see me. I was finally put on a fetal monitor, a couple nurses tried to find a heart beat but there was none. As a nurse was attempting to draw my blood between contractions i felt a gush of water. I new my baby had passed. The dr finally came in and said i was in full labor. Worse experience of my life i will never get over. Please be tested if not at your well baby check as soon as you see more than normal discharge.
